‘Cape Jazz’ is a recently developed sub-genre of South African Jazz and the Cape Samba feel, while having its origins in Brazil, has a particular slapdruk approach and a greased/looseness that only Capetonians seems to get right!

This “No Drums” version leaves the rhythmic pocket entirely to you, backed by the authentic, high-fidelity bass and keyboard stems from the original session. Designed for live drummers to work on their feel, dynamic sensitivity, and traditional Jazz patterns alongside world-class session players.
