At Mahogany Recording Studio, we provide a curated environment where acoustics meet inspiration. Whether you’re tracking a full band or a solo vocal, our blend of high-end preamps, precision microphones and in-house producer/audio engineer ensures your performance is captured with accuracy, absolute clarity and character.

Session musicians are readily available on every instrument imaginable and recorded using immaculate instruments, amplification, etc…

We keep the atmosphere light but ensure that we graft hard to get the best performance in the least amount of time. We can get stuck in to get results, but we also take breaks, have a chat, enjoy good coffee, snacks, etc. while enjoying the view of Cape Town sprawled out in front of us.

Our tracking room is airconditioned with a steady flow of fresh air and monitoring that doesn’t wear out your ears but allows for clear representations of what is happening musically. Once you’re happy with the music/recording we have made and applied to get the best performance possible, we move into the 🎙️ Mixing Process
